Answers to popular queries
How to sign in to a service
A common question we receive is about how to sign in to a particular service and which credentials to use. Our how to sign in to a service page is a great place to start as it lists commonly used log in pages and which account to use for logging in.
Setting up starters, leavers and movers
When new members of staff join your team, whether completely new or moving roles, it’s important that new team members are given the correct access to software, services and other digital resources. This task falls to line managers and it’s always a good idea to get your new starter's IT set up as early as possible. And remember, IT access must be removed for any leavers.
If you are expecting staff changes within your team, you can find detailed information on how to provision access for new staff members, how to update IT access for staff movers and how to remove IT access for staff leavers.
Microsoft Copilot at the University
Through the AI and Machine Learning Competency Centre, the University is running a pilot of Microsoft’s flagship AI tool, Copilot, as part of the Digital Transformation programme. To assist the pilot, we have created a help page with an overview of useful Copilot information including getting support, Copilot availability, how to know if you already have access and links to helpful resources.
Finding IT Help

Some of our most frequently used forms include:

All the information you need to find IT support can be found on the IT Help website.
