Find help and support
Ways to get help with your computer and IT problems
Need to get connected, worried about malware, or just forgotten your password? Here’s where to go for help with your IT problems.
Visit our Help website to find useful guides, frequently asked questions (FAQs) and lots of other IT advice and guidance.
If you have problems with your IT accounts – such as a forgotten password – you should be able to solve these through the Manage your Oxford Single Sign-On account or Self-Registration websites. Try this first before contacting the Service Desk. If you are confused about which IT account should be used for which services read our Your University accounts page.

If you've checked the Help website and still need assistance, the first place to go for help should be the IT Support Staff in your college or department. You can find a list of local IT Support Staff on our Help site.

To contact the Service Desk, phone (01865) 612345 (please have your University Card to hand). Telephone support is available 24/7. You can also contact us online (use SSO) to register your request.
