John Ireland

The Software Solutions Group provides services to identify, analyse, scope, procure, design, build/configure, test and deploy software and applications. 

John Ireland has significant experience of working in IT at Oxford, including 10 years at Jesus College, 4 years as Section Manager for the Systems Development and Support team, and over 12 years as Director of Customer Services. During this time John has been directly involved in developing the teams and systems needed to support the substantial growth in the use and importance of IT in University research and teaching.

John is responsible for the delivery and subsequent enhancement of the University's enterprise software applications which include specification, design, development, implementation and third-level support of software packages, bespoke solutions, and web and mobile applications in line with University’s software, data and interfacing architecture standards.
