Dr Michael Fraser

Michael serves as the Interim Director of IT Services at the University, where he leads the Department as the primary provider of IT infrastructure and digital services. IT Services plays a critical role in enabling the University to achieve its strategic objectives by delivering services and solutions that are reliable and aligned with the University’s evolving requirements for education, research and administration. 

Michael joined the University in 1995. He has led research support services and has been a principal investigator on a range of grant-funded projects. He was appointed Director of Infrastructure Services in 2013 and Interim Director of IT Services in 2025. He has been a Supernumerary Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall since 2017.
