Share your learning success

Although we can’t physically attend courses and workshops at the moment, that doesn’t mean we can’t still learn new skills or brush up on old ones. LinkedIn Learning is just one of the IT training resources available to us, and it’s going from strength to strength.

Oxford staff and students completed nearly 3500 LinkedIn Learning courses in the first six months of this year. Completing courses can help to improve your CV so, even though there is no formal link, you can now add your course certificate to your LinkedIn profile, if you have one. Of course, this is optional, but this feature has been welcomed by many of you already.

Security and sharing

To keep a clear separation between your University and personal LinkedIn activities, except certificates that you choose to share, work-related information is not shared with any existing LinkedIn profile that you may have – you don’t even need a LinkedIn profile to take courses.  Anyone with an Oxford University Single Sign-On (SSO) can access LinkedIn Learning courses for free.

More information about LinkedIn Learning and how to get the most from it is on our IT Skills website.
